Beat the Midwinter Blahs

The endless, gray, rainy days in Seattle. The deep frigid snowbanks of Syracuse New York. Day after day of perfect sunshine in San Diego....

If you don't happen to live in the tropics (or San Diego), winter may get you down. Plugging along in the day to day business, you just want to get through it. February is the perfect month to take on a month long project that you've been putting off.

Do your restrooms need a spruce up? Take this time to put on a fresh coat of paint, scrub the heck out of those stalls and maybe even put up some artwork that will make your customers smile.

How about your business vehicle? I bet it could use a good detailing. If you have money pay someone else, otherwise take an hour a week for a month and clean it up. Your vehicle represents your business and your customers will take notice.

PAPERWORK, Yay! I've yet to find someone who enjoys filing. Organizing your business documents is an important, if boring task. Schedule 15 minutes a day for a week and you'll be on your way to paperwork nirvana...
